ICR, Inc. exists to provide hotel site selection services to meeting planners. Our mission is to save time for our clients by quickly and concisely securing high quality hotels capable of exceeding their needs and expectations. Additionally, we strive to introduce new and exciting hotel venues to our clients that are willing and able to create incrementally successful events. We provide personalized service to our clients throughout the duration of the planning process and we rely on our industry knowledge, integrity and professionalism when recommending hotel venues for our clients.

Melissa Ilaug – President and Founder of ICR, Inc.

m-ilaug.jpgMelissa has spent her entire career in the hospitality industry.  Her first job, at age 15, was to bus tables and run room service orders at a small Radisson hotel.  It must have been destiny, because after that Melissa never took another job that didn’t involve working in a hotel or selling hotels.  During college and beyond, Melissa gained extensive knowledge and experience working in various hotel departments, with a particular emphasis on food & beverage, and sales.

While working as a hotel sales manager, Melissa had the idea that instead of selling just one hotel, why not start a company that would allow her to work with clients, selling countless top notch hotels for their meetings and events.  It was a unique business model that was still fairly new and untested, yet held enormous potential.  Hence, ICR, Inc. was created in 1999.  Through a desire to provide incomparable service, valued client relationships and wide-ranging experience in event planning and sales negotiation, ICR, Inc. achieved rapid and steady growth.  Today ICR is driven with the spirit of independence and entrepreneurialism and guided by the values of integrity and professionalism.  It continues to succeed with new partners, new clients, new goals and new ideas. 

Melissa lives with her husband in Eagan, MN with their four children and two very lively dogs.  Interests include baking bread (and anything sweet), reading and spending time with the family on Minnesota island and hiking on the beautiful north shore.

Robin Jarosh, Sales & Business Director

Before joining ICR, Robin enjoyed a very successful career as an event planner, first for Target Corp. and later for Best Buy Corp. Other positions held during her long hospitality career has included: restaurant manager over multiple hotel restaurants, night MOD manager and national sales manager for Radisson Hotels. Her extensive experience has given Robin a thorough knowledge of both the supplier and client side of meeting planning. Robin’s focus at ICR is business development. As Director of Sales, she applies her 20 years’ of hospitality experience towards developing new business and client relations. Having planned and executed hundreds of successful events, Robin has received countless rave reviews from her clients as an effective negotiator and a superior, detail-oriented meeting planner. Robin’s passion for her work and her drive to create exceptional events have earned her a reputation as a true professional and a proven leader. Robin lives in Savage, MN with her 3 adorable children. Her interests include running, hiking, cooking and spending time at the cabin with her children on Minnesota Island, Leech Lake.
